We strive to give designers of urban areas ideas of the challenges that come with limited vision or none at all, but also possible solutions for support with TWSIs. In this session, we discussed our current efforts to educate entities on Tactile Walking Surface Indicators and answer any questions the group may have. With this in mind, the ACB Transportation Committee offered this workshop, which covered the basics of how transit is regulated, funded, planned, operated and managed. It's practical information, that any ACB leader, transit advisory committee member, or anyone else concerned about transit can use to level up their transit advocacy skills. OKO doesn't require any additional infrastructure to be installed and does not rely on a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. No stress and greater safety while crossing the street.
