20250708 1730 Laying the Groundwork Public Transportation Basics for Advocates Originally Broadcasted July 8, 2025, on ACB Media 2 Most decisions about public transportation are made locally. This means that it's local chapters and state affiliates who are on the front lines of advocating for better and more accessible public transportation. With this in mind, the ACB Transportation Committee offered this workshop, which covered the basics of how transit is regulated, funded, planned, operated and managed. It's practical information, that any ACB leader, transit advisory committee member, or anyone else concerned about transit can use to level up their transit advocacy skills. OKO doesn't require any additional infrastructure to be installed and does not rely on a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. No stress and greater safety while crossing the street.
